Can I set context for the AI Assistant?
Yes, you can set the context used in the grid, element or stage gate AI settings.
Note: you need edit or manage access to the grid in order to edit the AI settings for a grid.
To set context for the AI Assistant in a grid:
- Open a grid
- Open the grid AI settings
- Expand the context setting
- Enter your desired prompt
To set context for the AI Assistant in an element or stage gate:
- Open the element or stage gate
- Open the AI settings
- Select yes to override the grid settings
- Expand the context setting
- Enter your desired prompt
Note: Use the context setting to tell the AI what this is and how it is used. Include the purpose, who uses it, what content it contains (e.g. templates, guidance, phases), and what outcome the AI should support.
Example: This supports client delivery projects, guiding consultants through key phases with checklists and templates. The AI should tailor content to each phase and help maintain consistency and quality.
Note: The context settings of the grid are also used by the AI assistant chat in that grid.
