Can I set the tone and language used by the AI Assistant?
Yes, you can set the tone and language used in the grid, element or stage gate AI settings.
Note: you need edit or manage access to the grid in order to edit the AI settings for a grid.
To set the tone and language used by the AI Assistant in a grid:
- Open a grid
- Open the grid AI settings
- Expand the tone and language setting
- Enter your desired prompt
To set the tone and language used by the AI Assistant in an element or stage gate:
- Open the element or stage gate
- Open the AI settings
- Select yes to override the grid settings
- Expand the tone and language setting
- Enter your desired prompt
Note: Use the tone and language setting to tell the AI how to communicate the response. Include the language (e.g. UK English), intended audience (e.g. client, internal team), the tone (e.g. professional, friendly, concise, detailed), and any preferred writing style such as bullet points or full paragraphs.
Example: Write in a friendly, informal tone for new joiners. Use plain UK-English, short sentences, and bulleted lists to explain each step clearly.
Note: The tone and language settings of the grid are also used by the AI assistant chat in that grid.
