Here we will review how you can input LAG time between dependencies in your Gantt.
LAG refers to the amount of time that is added between a predecessor item and its successor. It can be applied to all dependent items regardless of their dependency type (Start to Start, Start to Finish, End to Start or End to End.) LAG is always associated with delay.
To input lag entries within the Gantt Chart, you can right click and enter the advanced edit option. You will find the LAG column under the Successor and Predecessor headings. You can then add a whole value in the LAG field to input your LAG. You can also input a plus (+) followed by a number in either successor or predecessor field.
All updates in a successor item will be reflected in the corresponding predecessor and vice versa. It will also be reflected in the corresponding calendar view.
You can change, edit or update the lag entries when required.
