Here we will look at the different options available to add, edit, and remove start and end dates in the Gantt Chart.
Item Start & End dates can be set from within your Gantt.
The overall Grid Start Date will be the assumed start date of all items, unless updated with a specific constraint in the Gantt chart.
Start and end dates will be inherited from their subordinate level. What this means is; a stage will inherit its start and end dates from the elements and stage gates within it. This logic is followed throughout the grid, with elements inheriting their start and end dates from the tasks within them.
You can update Start/End dates by updating the corresponding entry in the Gannt chart. You can select the date via the calendar or manually enter it.
