You can add a link-based content area for three distinct types of links:
(1) Web links - To external web pages;
(2) Element links - To other Method Grid elements.
(3) Grid links - To other Method Grids
To add one of these content areas, a member with edit access can enter edit mode and select them from the "add a content area" or + action button (see How do I add/manage content areas?).
Web links
To create an external link to another website, click on the “Link to a website +” button at the bottom of the 'Links area'. Next, type or paste in the website address (URL) and the link text you wish to have displayed. Click on the save action button to confirm.
To delete, click on the delete button to the right of the web link.
To move it, click and drag on the move icon to the right of the web link.
To edit, click on the edit icon to the right of the web link.
Element links
To create a link to an element (anywhere within your Method Grid platform), click on the “Link to an element +” button at the bottom of the 'Links area'. From the search/list tool that opens, search by element name and select the required element to link to.
To delete, click on the delete button to the top right of the element link.
To move it, click and drag on the move icon top right of the element link.
Grid links
To create a link to another Grid click on the “Link to an Grid +” button at the bottom of the ‘Links area’. From the search/list tool that opens, search by Grid name and select the required Grid to link to.
To delete, click on the delete button to the top right of the element link.
To move it, click and drag on the move icon top right of the element link.
