How do I assign multiple items at the same time?

It is possible to assign multiple items (grids, stages, elements, stage gates and tasks) to a team member in the grid and portfolio Gantt charts.

To do this:

1. Open the grid or portfolio Gantt chart containing the items you wish to assign
2. In the assigned to column of the Gantt data table, select the items you want to assign (you can select more than one using shift key + mouse click or ctrl key + mouse click, see editing multiple Gantt data points in the Gantt chart for more information)
3. Double click to trigger the edit assignee interface (if you have more than one item selected, hold down ctrl when you double click to edit)
4. Search for the member you wish to assign
5. Select the member you wish to assign 
6. Click out of the item or press enter to confirm and assign them to the item (if you have more than one item selected, hold down ctrl and press enter to assign them to all the selected items)

The items you selected have now been assigned to the selected team member.

Note: you will need at least edit access to the grid to edit item assignees.

Note: completed stage gates cannot be reassigned unless you uncomplete them first.
