Cloning an element can be very useful to reduce repetitive content building. Find out how in this article.
When viewing the grid in edit mode, the quick actions revealed on each element thumbnail include the clone (double square) action button.
Clicking on this button creates an identical copy adjacent to the original element. The new element can then be moved to wherever in the grid you seek to place it and updated independently as required.
Please Note:
- Durations and dependencies (successors and predecessors) set within the Gantt scheduling of the original element will NOT be migrated to the new cloned element.
- Durations and dependencies can only be cloned at Grid level. You can see more here: How do I clone a Grid?
